چکیده

One of the world’s main causes cancer-related fatalities worldwide is colorectal cancer. The adherent epithelial cells known as HCT116 (human carcinoma) are frequently employed to examine inflammatory responses in colonic cells. They derived from human cancer cell line. Crocin, a potent antioxidant, anticarcinogenic was tested this study see how it affected HCT-116 MTT analysis used assess viability. Crocin's antiproliferative activity inhibit proliferation HCT 116 examined. Crocin displayed outstanding activities for test, IC50= 10.57 μL/mL 24 hours calculated 3.29 48 on Total antioxidant status (TAS) and total oxidant (TOS) prepared lysate were determined by using commercial kits. thought be high potential agent treatment.

Cytotoxic Metabolites from Callyspongia siphonella Display Antiproliferative Activity by Inducing Apoptosis in HCT-116 Cells

OBJECTIVES To evaluate the antiproliferative effect of the isolated metabolites from Callyspongia siphonella. METHODS Different chromatographic methods have been done on the organic extract of the marine sponge aiming at isolating the bioactive metabolites. The cytotoxicity of the isolated compounds has been evaluated against the human colorectal cancer cell line; HCT-116, employing SRB assay...

Combination of Quercetin and Kaempferol enhances in vitro Cytotoxicity on Human Colon Cancer (HCT-116) Cells

Colon cancer is one of the most common types of cancer malignancy. Although flavonoids naturally occur as mixtures, little information is available regarding the additive or synergistic biochemical interactions between flavonoids. The objectives of this study were to examine the feasibility of combining two major structurally related flavonoids, quercetin and kaempferol, to affect the cell viab...

Coptisine from Rhizoma Coptidis Suppresses HCT-116 Cells-related Tumor Growth in vitro and in vivo

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common causes of cancer-related death in humans. Coptisine (COP) is a natural alkaloid from Coptidis Rhizoma with unclear antitumor mechanism. Human colon cancer cells (HCT-116) and xenograft mice were used to systematically explore the anti-tumor activity of COP in this study. The results indicated that COP exhibited remarkably cytotoxic activities against ...

In Vitro Cytotoxic Activity of Origanum vulgare L. on HCT-116 and MDA-MB-231 Cell Lines.

In the present investigation, we examined the cytotoxic effect of methanolic extract from Origanum vulgare on HCT-116 and MDA-MB-231 cell line in vitro. In order to determine the cytotoxic effects we used an MTT viability assay. The results showed that cell growth is significantly lower in extract treated cells compared to untreated control. The effect of inhibition of cell growth was higher in...
